# Rebate Ledger

When an auction sells above the protocol's price, the extra goes back to whoever sold those options. That payment is your **rebate**.

You earn rebates on any option you sold to Hypersurface and still hold. Your share scales with your position. Rebates are paid in USDT0.

### Claiming your rebate

Your rebates are at [app.hypersurface.io/rebates](https://app.hypersurface.io/rebates), listed by option.

* Claim sends your rebate to your wallet. No approval needed.
* Rebates build up until you claim them.
* Rebates you have already earned stay yours, even if you later close, exercise, or settle the position.
